About me
Matthew Burke started carving in his father’s woodworking shop when he was 10 years old. He has been carving off and on for the past 25 years. While mostly self taught he learned a lot about wood burning from fellow Maine carver, Ed Beach. Matthew specializes in realistic songbirds but his work includes some mammals and fish in both realistic and stylized finishes.
